Creator Trey Parker and crew are considering ending the long-running animated show (not yet!) with a feature film.

That would be an excellent way to end the show!
and yes, Imaginationland had the total feel of a movie, im not surprised that they were considering to do it as such at all

I so know that the show will end at season 15, as sad as it is I can feel it alright, only three more years of south park *sniff**sniff*

Wow that would be a great way to end the series! I hope they do that. Even though it makes me sad to think about the end of it... This would be just wonderful. Smile

Depends on the plot, if they do the cheap "KYLE AND CARTMAN ARE BROTHERS!!" plot idea that's been going around I'll loose all respect for the show, same with any "This is the end guys" kind of movie really... But if they actually end it in the normal-y episode kind of way, I'll like it.

I just hope South Park doesn't hit theaters anytime soon. And I doubt the 15 seasons thing. Initially it was 12, and they extended it.

Ending it with a South Park movie? Fail. I personally think it wouldn't be a good idea as the episodes are not related in any way with the movie that is out. In that way, making an 'end of the series' movie wouldn't make sense, the plotline of the current South park movie is crap enough since it's too focused, a completely different style of comedy from the series episodes.

I think Matt and Trey can keep it fresh for 15 seasons.

I'm actually kind of glad that they made Imaginationland now rather than that being the final bang for the show. I want them to think up a new brilliant idea like the one they had when they made SP: BLU. I hope they just try and think like they once did in the older seasons to make the final movie follow the lines of SP: BLU, but only better. Smile

This was speculated for the end of season 12 before as well as it was the last season that would be made before they extended it. Nice to hear that it may really happen now for the end of season 15, the two South Park films made so far were really great.
